Online Software To Help With Character Design No.2

RanGen.com:

This software is incredible, I would use this regularly. It gives off loads of information for random characters and it has many more features than the last one I wrote about.

I love that it gives so much about their appearance. It really gives way for concept art to be drawn of them. I really like the personality section due to its simplicity but yet effective use of many words to describe a person in a very short space.

I love the detail it gives, who thinks about randomly generating 'personal status'? These guys. To even add a job with a satisfaction percentage takes much attention to detail. Love the idea of Marital status and how it shows their preference to gender. Shows that the people who made this took their time to think about the quality and the detail to offer.

This is another feature I quite like. To add Religious views along with world and racial is an amazing feature to have as it makes thinking about characters views so much less time draining. I also do like the 'Age Preference' tag because it will also show what type of character this person is. This section will show how the character will look at people and how they would interact with others.

Next, another feature that this software grants is the randomized yet detailed list of traits a character will have. The attention to detail will amaze me if it looks like this continuously. 'Self-satisfaction' is also interesting that they would dabble in how they feel towards self-likability. I do like 'Motivator' as a tag, it shows that they do pay attention to character development and how motivation is a key aspect of a character.

Lastly, 'Favorites' feature is also really good to have because it will show how a character will react to certain things and that might play a huge part into gameplay or sidestories. It will be helpful when discussing in games.

I would highly recommend this to anyone struggling to make characters on the spot, and to people who aspire to be a character developer.
